Lisa K. Foster, 53, of Creston, was taken into custody 11:10 p.m. April 16, at her residence, on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 6:05 p.m. officers were at a home in the 600 block of North Pine Street, attempting to speak with a resident of the household. While speaking with a male occupant there, a strong odor of marijuana was detected by officers.
At approximately 9:48 p.m. a search warrant was executed at the residence. Multiple drug paraphernalia items were located in the common area and in Foster’s bedroom dresser.
Foster was cited and released at the scene on a promise to appear.

Taran P.A. Austin, 28, of Creston, was taken into custody 12 a.m. April 17, at his residence, on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a Creston Police report at approximately 6:05 p.m. April 16, officers were at a home in the 600 block of North Pine Street where Austin resides, attempting to speak to a resident of the house. While speaking with Austin, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the house.
At approximately 9:48 p.m. a search warrant was executed at the residence. Multiple drug paraphernalia items were located in Austin’s bedroom.
Austin was cited and released at the scene on a promise to appear.
