Snow contributes two-vehicle crash in Creston

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 7:36 a.m. Dec. 2, a 2003 GMC Sierra, driven by Cameron R. Brammer, 15, of Clearfield was eastbound on Townline Street, when it was hit by a 2021 Kia Soul, driven by Kenneth A. Stuckey, 60, of Creston, who was also eastbound, behind the GMC.

The GMC had to slow down and stop in traffic for a school bus in front of it which was turning into the school parking lot. The Kia, which was listed as driving too fast for conditions and following too close, was unable to stop due to the road being snow covered.

Damage to the Kia was estimated at $3,000 and damage to the GMC was estimated at $1,500.
