Creston bowling recaps season

The Creston bowling team met Sunday for a team banquet to recap their 2024-25 season and honor their seniors.

The team graduates seven seniors: Stephen Sistad, Marshall Howard, Caden Briner, William Nutt, Prestyn Perkins, Drake Pendegraft and Jana Peavler.

Junior Brett Orr was recognized for his earning a spot on the Hawkeye 10 first team all conference after placing fourth at the conference tournament.

Orr swept the boys team awards for highest game (237), highest series (468), total pins (3,503) and highest average (194.6).

On the girls side, sophomore Olivia Coenen took the highest game with a score of 152 and the highest total pins with 1,616.

Peavler had the highest series with 264 and the highest average at 105.5.

As it stands, the girls team would have two returners — Coenen and Nicole Nutt. The boys team has four potential returners in Orr, Hunter Downing, Johnathon Henry and Allen Reed.
