Creston volleyball swept at Red Oak.

RED OAK -— Though the Panthers (9-11, 2-6) came back to fight in extra points in set three, Red Oak (11-14, 4-3) swept Creston 3-0 on the road Thursday.

The Tigers won 25-16, 25-11 and 26-24.

“Proud of our girls for the fight they brought in game three,” coach Naomi Sharp said. “We struggled to get hits to fall on their side game one and game two. Game three we did a great job attacking the ball.”

Three Panthers had ace serves -— Hanson and Mila Kuhns each with one and libero Avery Staver with two.

Staver led back-row defense with 12 digs. Bailey chipped in 10 while Hanson and Rieck had eight and seven, respectively.

The Panthers play at Southwest Valley (20-3) tonight before returning to Hawkeye 10 play Thursday at St. Albert.
