Juliann M. Edsall, 45, of Creston, was taken into custody 1:42 p.m. March 20, in the 400 block of North Walnut Street on a Dallas County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of violation of probation.
According to a Dallas County District Court document, Edsall was ordered to appear before the court Nov. 15, 2024, and did not.
Edsall was transported to the Union County Jail, then transferred to the custody of Dallas County and held on $2,000 cash only bond.

Jacob S. Hilts, 25, and Owen H. Davis, 20, both of Creston, were taken into custody 1:27 a.m. March 21, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on the charge of possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, first offense.
According to a Creston Police report, officers were called to an apartment in the 1300 block of North Elm Street for complaints of noise and the odor of marijuana. Contact was made with Davis and Hilts and the odor of marijuana was detected by officers. Both individuals made comments about using marijuana. Two bongs, two grinders and other items containing a green leafy substance consistent with marijuana were given to officers by one of the individuals.
Hilts and Davis were transported to the Union County Jail where they were both released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond each.
