Douglas E. Woodward III, 39, of Creston, was taken into custody at 7 p.m. March 18, at his residence on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, four counts of possession of a controlled substance, third or subsequent offense; keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance violation; a controlled substance violation and eight counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
During the same incident, Joleen M. Most, 46, of Creston, was taken into custody at her residence on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, second offense; three counts of possession of a controlled substance, second offense; keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance violation; a controlled substance violation and eight counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
According to Creston Police reports, a search warrant was executed at 305 N. Elm St. in Creston, the residence of Most and Woodward.
During the search officers located various pieces of drug paraphernalia including methamphetamine pipes that field tested positive for methamphetamine, small amounts of marijuana and methamphetamine, several prescription pills that were separately packaged for sale, including concerta and methylpheridate, both of which are controlled substances, and multiple digital scales.
Woodward has previous drug possession convictions Jan. 31, 2013, and May 28, 2022, in Union County.
Moat has a previous drug possession conviction June 16, 2019, in Ringgold County.
Most was transported to the Adams County Jail and held on $27,300 cash or approved surety bond. Woodward was taken to the Union County Jail and held on $40,000 cash or approved surety bond.
