Robin L. Hoskins, 49, of Diagonal, was taken into custody 2:16 a.m. March 11, at Highway 34 and Chestnut Street on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, first offense and interference with official acts.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 1:50 a.m. a 2019 Kia Forte was stopped for having unreadable license plates. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Hoskins. During the course of the stop, Hoskins gave officers consent to search the Kia. Officers located a glass pipe with residue and a baggie with a crystalline substance, both of which field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
Hoskins grabbed the pipe from officers in attempt to take it away and resisted arrest.
Hoskins was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $1,600 cash or surety bond.
