Rowan D. Pope, 21, of Des Moines, was taken into custody 11:44 a.m. March 6, in the 1700 block of Townline Street on a Union County warrant for two counts of harassment, third degree.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 8:04 p.m. Oct. 25, 2022, two men reported three individuals wearing masks came to their residence in the 300 block of North Sumner Street.
Although they were wearing masks, the victims were able to identify Pope as one of the individuals by previous interactions as well as Snapchat videos and photos that were available to the victims. The victims stated Pope used threatening language toward them. Pope also made statements about being present at the time of the incident.
Pope was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from on his own recognizance on a promise to appear by the magistrate.
