Amanda L. Jackson, 39, of Lenox, was taken into custody 10:09 a.m. March 3, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of assault.
According to a Union County District Court document Jackson was ordered to appear Dec. 17, 2024, for an initial hearing on the original charge and did not.
Jackson was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $300 cash or surety bond.

Crystal A. Conley, 54, of Creston, was taken into custody 11:49 p.m. March 3, at her residence on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of OWI, first offense.
According to a Union County District court document, Conley was ordered to appear Feb, 28 for a show cause hearing on the original charge and did not.
Conley was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $500 cash or surety bond.

Carlos R. Rivera, 41, of Creston, was taken into custody 1:19 a.m. March 4, in the 900 block of South Sumner Avenue on the charges of OWI, first offense, possession of a controlled substance, first offense and possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, first offense.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 12:49 a.m. a traffic stop was conducted on a 2016 Ram 2500 for traveling 37 mph in a 25 mph zone. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Rivera, and the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected coming from the truck. Rivera had slurred speech, bloodshot, watery eyes and the odor of a consumed alcoholic beverage coming from his breath.
Rivera made statements about drinking “Red Label” in his hotel room and then going to get cigarettes. He refused all field sobriety testing and PBT.
Rivera was searched after being taken into custody and a small baggie containing a white powder substance and a vape with the odor of marijuana were found in his pocket. The substances later field tested positive for cocaine and marijuana. Rivera told officers the baggie with cocaine in it was not his and he did not know how it got into his pants.
Rivera was additionally cited for open container, failure to provide proof of insurance and excessive speed in a 55 mph or less zone (11-15 mph over).
He was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $3,000 cash or surety bond.
