Creston Police report - Jan. 22, 2025

Andrew T. Palmer, 30, of Creston, was taken into custody 10:37 p.m. Jan. 21, at Townline and Pine streets on the charge of driving while barred.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 10:30 p.m. officers observed a 2010 GMC Sierra westbound on Townline Street. The registered owner of the vehicle was shown to be have a barred license.

A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, identified as Palmer, who was confirmed to be the registered owner. Palmer admitted to not having a valid license.

Palmer was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $2,000 cash or surety bond.
