A Creston woman was injured Saturday in a two-vehicle accident in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 5:46 p.m. a 2015 Jeep Patriot, driven by Shandi Brown, 29, of Creston, was northbound on Sumner Avenue at the Adams Street intersection, when it collided with a 2018 GMC Savana Cutaway box truck, driven by Brenda Ewing, 56, of Creston, in the intersection.
The GMC was traveling southbound on Sumner Avenue, turning east onto Adams Street at the time of the accident. Brown said she had a green light and Ewing stated she had a green turn arrow when they proceeded through the intersection.
Brown was transported by ambulance to Greater Regional Health for unknown injuries.
Damage to the Jeep and the GMC was estimated at $7,000 each.
