Damage estimated at $1K each in two-vehicle Creston crash

No injuries were reported Sunday in a two-vehicle crash in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 4:27 p.m. a 2017 Mercedes C300, driven by Delfina Aguirre Hicks, 56, of Creston, was northbound on Division Street. At the same time, a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by Janie M. Warner, 57, of Creston, was eastbound on Devoe Street.

At the intersection, the Pacifica was struck by the C300, after the Pacifica rolled through the stop sign. Warner stated the crash was her fault as she did not realize the intersection was not a four-way stop.

Damage to the Pacifica and C300 was estimated at $1,000 each.
