Creston Police report - Dec. 31, 2024

Jonathan D. Williams, 21, of Creston, was taken into custody 7:36 p.m. Dec. 30, in the 100 block of West Buckeye Street on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 7:09 p.m. a strong smell of marijuana was reported to be coming from an apartment. Officers made contact with a female at the residence who said she did not have any marijuana but her boyfriend, identified as Williams, did. Officers then asked to speak with him.

Williams came outside of the residence and handed officers a rolled wrapper with a small amount of marijuana in it. Williams said he had been smoking at a friends house and that was all he had left.

Williams was cited and released on a summons to appear.
