No injuries were reported Monday in a two-vehicle accident in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, 10:59 a.m. Dec. 16, a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Patsy Arnold, 79, of Shannon City, was westbound in the outside lane of West Taylor Street. At the same time, a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Kathleen Lockard, 73, of Creston, was northbound on Maple Street, attempting to cross the intersection. The Cherokee was alongside of a semi with a trailer.

The semi was waiting to turn south onto Maple and waved the Equinox through the intersection. Neither the semi driver or Lockard saw the Cherokee along side the semi. As the Equinox crossed the intersection, the Cherokee hit the rear passenger corner of the vehicle.

Damage to the Cherokee and the Jeep were estimated at $2,500 each.
