No injuries were reported Tuesday in two-vehicle accident in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:30 p.m. a 1994 Dodge Ram, driven by Scott R. Coleman, 70, of Creston, was westbound in the McDonald’s parking lot, followed by a 2016 Toyota Corolla, driven by Sommy L. Revilla, 23, of Houston, Texas. Coleman was reading the signs on the store window but couldn’t see some of them, so he attempted to back up for a better view, and backed into the Corolla.

Coleman told officer’s the Corolla had sped into the parking lot causing the crash. Revilla said he followed the Ram into the lot and it stopped and started backing up. Revilla said he honked the horn but the Ram did not stop until it hit the Corolla. A witness also told officer’s the same version of incident.

Damage to the Ram was estimated at $100 and damage to the Corolla was estimated at $3,000.
