Ronan F. Noeth, 24, of Kent, was taken into custody 2:24 a.m. Nov. 23, at Highway 34 and Lincoln Street on the charge of OWI, first offense and carrying dangerous weapons while intoxicated.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 1:59 a.m. a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado was observed making a wide right turn, crossing the center line into the oncoming lane. The Silverado then weaved within its lane, traveling below the speed limit.
A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, identified as Noeth, who had slurred speech, bloodshot, watery eyes, impaired balance and the odor of consistent with an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. Noeth made statements about drinking alcoholic beverages at a local bar.
Noeth consented to field sobriety testing and showed clues of impairment. A PBT indicated a BrAC of over .08%. Noeth stated there were firearms in the truck and two loaded handguns and ammunition were located at seized.
Neoth was transported to the Union County Law Enforcement Center where he consented to provide a breath specimen for chemical testing. The result of the test showed Noeth to have a BAC of .227%.
Noeth was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $2,000 cash or surety bond.

Jason A. Lohoff, 51, and Jennifer A. Self, 35, both of Creston, were taken into custody 9:30 a.m. Nov. 23, in the 100 block of Manor Drive on the charges of burglary, third degree; theft, second degree; possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Self was also charged with possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, with intent to deliver.
According to Creston Police reports, at approximately 1:03 a.m. Nov. 22, Self and Lohoff entered Casey’s General Store at 403 E Townline St., where Self was formerly employed. Self used a key, retained after her termination, to enter the store and utilized security codes to disarm the store’s alarm system and enter the safe. Lohoff and Self then took more than $1,500 but less than $10,000 in cash from the safe.
At approximately 8:50 a.m. Nov. 23, a search warrant in connection with the theft was conducted at Self’s apartment. During the search warrant a green leafy substance, consistent with marijuana, and a marijuana pipe were located, which Lohoff admitted belonged to him.
In the bedroom of the apartment, more than 5 grams of a crystalline substance, which field tested positive for methamphetamine, a digital scale used to weigh narcotics for distribution, marijuana and multiple glass methamphetamine pipes were found. Self took ownership of all items in the bedroom and admitted the marijuana was purchased Nov. 22, at a Missouri dispensary with money stolen from Casey’s General Store.
Lohoff was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $11,300 cash or surety bond. Self was transported to the Adams County Jail and held on $25,000 cash or surety bond.

Louis R. Lumbard, 24, of Creston, was taken into custody 11:55 p.m. Nov. 23, at Taylor and Vine streets on the charge of driving while suspended.
According to a Creston Police report, a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stopped at Vine Street. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Lumbard, who was found to have a suspended driver’s license.
Lumbard was cited and released at the scene on a summons to appear.

Dennis M. Seddon, 69, of Creston, was taken into custody 11:16 a.m. Nov. 24, at his residence on the charge of assault.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 10:24 a.m. Seddon went to a residence in the 100 block of West Ringgold Street and physically assaulted an adult male in the driveway. The victim had a bloody nose and bruising near his eye as a result of the assault.
The victim and Seddon have been involved in an ongoing dispute about trespassing on the driveway.
Seddon was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $300 cash or surety bond.
