Lacey J. Goodnight, 24, of Corning, was taken into custody 11:28 p.m. Oct 10, at Lake Shore Drive on the charge of possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, first offense.
According to a Creston Police report, a 2014 Ford Escape was observed in McKinley Park after hours. Officers approached the vehicle to notify the occupants and detected an odor of marijuana coming from the Escape.
A probable cause search was conducted. Marijuana and several items of paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Goodnight took responsibility for all of the items.
Goodnight was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Melinda A. Foland, 44, of Afton, was taken into custody 10:28 p.m. Oct. 10, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on the charge of possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, first offense.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 8:49 p.m. officers stopped a 2012 Kia Sol at Cherry and Fremont streets. The driver, identified as Foland, admitted to having a vape containing THC in her possession. The vape was retrieved from her purse and handed to officers.
Foland was cited and released at the scene on a summons to appear.

Toby Crawford, 47, of Creston, was taken into custody 2:06 a.m. Oct. 11, at Cherry and Howard streets on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 12:26 a.m. a 2013 Mazda CX-5 was observed traveling 30 mph in a 25 mph zone. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, identified as Crawford. A strong odor of marijuana was detected coming from the Mazda.
Marijuana roaches were observed in the passenger side door and the strong odor of marijuana was detected. A probable cause search was conducted and four empty containers marked as marijuana along with the burnt roaches were located.
Crawford was cited and released at the scene on a summons to appear.
