No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Friday in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:21 p.m. a 2006 GMC Canyon, driven by Kurtis M. Bradley, 16, of Creston, was northbound on Spruce Street leaving a stop sign at the Prairie Street intersection when it struck a westbound 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Robert M. Quinn, 42, of Creston.

Bradley said he looked for traffic but was unable to see due to numerous parked cars on Prairie Street up to the corner of Spruce Street.

Damage to the Canyon was estimated at $3,500 and damage to the Tahoe was estimated at $2,500.

A Creston woman was charged with OWI as a result of a hit and run accident Sunday night.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 9:10 p.m., a legally parked 2017 Jeep Wrangler was hit by a westbound SUV in the 700 block of West Mills Street. The driver of the other vehicle left the scene but police were able to locate the suspect vehicle, a 2016 Lincoln MKX, driven by Anne Chapman.

Chapman was investigated on suspicion of OWI and subsequently taken into custody.

Damage to the Jeep and Lincoln was estimated at $1,500 each.

Both drivers were injured Monday in a two-vehicle accident in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 11:14 a.m. a 2017 GMC Acadia, driven by Brynn M. Tussey, 17, of Creston was southbound on Sumner Street at the same time a 2022 Toyota Corolla, driven by Clarke T. Howe, 40, of Creston, was northbound.

Tussey attempted to turn east into the Casey’s parking lot in front of the Corolla, causing the Corolla to hit the Acadia.

Both drivers complained of possible injury and were transported by EMS to Greater Regional Health in Creston.

Damage to the Acadia was estimated at $6,000 and damage to the Corolla was estimated at $7,000.

No citations were issued in a two-vehicle accident Monday in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 1:51 p.m. a 2016 GMC Acadia, driven by Megan A. Andreasen, 47, of Prescott, was southbound on Lincoln Street at the Townline Street intersection at the same time a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Patricia E. Mielk, 85, of Carroll, was eastbound on Townline Street. The two vehicles collided at the intersection.

Witnesses told law enforcement the GMC ran a red light causing the accident. The initial Impact caused the GMC to spin and collide with the Chrysler a second time before coming to rest in the northeast side of the intersection. The Chrysler went through a fence and into a church sign before coming to rest in the southeast corner of the intersection.

Mielk was transported by ambulance to Greater Regional Health for possible injuries.

Damage to the GMC and the Chrysler was estimated at $10,000 per vehicle. Damage to fence was estimated at $500 and damage to the church sign was estimated at $1,000.
