Kayden L. Witt, 24, of Creston was taken into custody 10:30 a.m. Sept. 30, at his residence on a Union County warrant for the charges of sex offender verification violation, first offense and five counts sex offender verification violation, second or subsequent offense.

According to Union County reports, Witt was reported to have two unregistered email accounts, a Snapchat account, TikTok account, YouTube account and a Discord account. All accounts were verified against his sex offender registry information and confirmed to be unreported by Witt.

Witt was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $22,000 cash or surety bond.

Crystal A. Conley, 53, of Creston, was taken into custody 1:31 a.m. Oct. 1, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on the charge of OWI, first offense.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 12:23 a.m. a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix was pulled over at Lincoln and Hewitt streets for failing to stop at a stop sign. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Conley, who had bloodshot, watery eyes, droopy eyelids and slurred speech. Conley made statements about consuming alcohol earlier in the evening. Conley consented to field sobriety testing and showed numerous validated clues of impairment. She also consented to ARIDE tests and showed indicators of impairment.

Conley made statements about taking Xanax shortly before being stopped. Conley admitted she is not prescribed the medication and was given it by a friend. Conley was transported to the Union County Law Enforcement Center where she refused to consent to chemical testing.

Conley was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.
