Creston Police report - Sept. 30, 2024

Isaac W. Hayes, 26, of Creston, was taken into custody 5:52 p.m. Sept. 28, in the 800 block of West Adams Street on the charge of violation of no contact/protective order - contempt.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 5:20 p.m. an off-duty officer reported Hayes was standing on the front porch of a residence where the protected party listed in a no contact order against Hayes resides. Hayes was still standing on the porch when officers arrived. Officers confirmed the order, which states Hayes is not to be in the immediate vicinity of the residence, was active.

Hayes was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $500 cash only bond.

Christopher G. Selvy, 22, and Zoe P.M. Hull, 22, both of Creston, were taken into custody 2:14 p.m. Sept. 29, in the 400 block of West Lucas Street on the charge of violation of a no contact/protective order - contempt.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:14 p.m. officers responded to a domestic dispute between Selvy and Hull who have an active protection order in place. When officers arrived they spoke to Selvy and the reporting party who said they heard Hull being assaulted over the phone. Selvy denied Hull was ever at the residence until she walked out, then Selvy said she was there getting her belongings. Other witnesses told officers Selvy and Hull had been having contact since the original event which prompted the order.

Selvy was transported to the Union County Jail and Hull was transported to the Adams County Jail, both are being held without bond until seen by the magistrate.
