Megan M. Brown, 43, of Lorimor, was taken into custody 5:53 p.m. July 23, in the 300 block of North Street on four Union County warrants for the charges of:
1. failure to appear on the original charges of possession of controlled substance - marijuana, first offense and possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, first offense.
2. failure to appear on the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
3. failure to appear on the original charge of driving while barred.
4. failure to serve jail sentence on the original charge of driving while barred.
According to Union County District Court documents, Brown was to appear July 12, for arraignment on the original charges of two counts of possession of a controlled substance and did not.
On July 23, Brown was to appear for a pretrial conference on the charge of possession of paraphernalia and did not.
Brown was to appear June 21, for a pretrial conference on the charge of driving while barred and did not.
On May 17, Brown was convicted of driving while barred and sentenced to serve 20 days in the Union County Jail by June 19. Brown did not report to the jail.
Brown was transported to the Adams County Jail and held on $3,300 cash only bond.
