Yarioska Rondoncama, 40, of Brooklyn, New York, was taken into custody 6:42 p.m. July 5, in the 900 block of South Sumner Street on the charge of driving while revoked.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 6:12 p.m. Rodoncama was observed by officers operating a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox at Laurel Street and Highway 34. Rodoncama is known by officers to possess a revoked license due to multiple OWIs. A traffic stop was initiated and he was confirmed to be the driver and to be revoked.
Rodoncama was cited and released at the scene on a summons to appear.

Tammy J. Coleman, 43, of Des Moines, was taken into custody 2:53 a.m. July 6, at Highway 34 and Wyoming Avenue on the charges of possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, first offense and OWI, first offense.
According to a Creston Police report, officers stopped a 2021 Jeep Renegade and made contact with the driver, identified as Coleman. The odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected coming from the vehicle and Coleman was observed to have slurred speech and watery eyes.
Coleman told officers she last drank approximately 30 minutes prior to the stop in Osceola. Officers located multiple open alcohol containers and marijuana in the Jeep.
Coleman consented to one field sobriety test, which resulted in validated clues of impairment. She refused all other testing including PBT. She was transported to the Union County Law Enforcement Center where she refused to provide a breath specimen for chemical testing.
Coleman was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Holly R. Donehoo, 38, of Mount Ayr, was taken into custody 5:25 p.m. July 6, at Howard and Walnut streets on the charge of driving while suspended.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 5:18 p.m. Donehoo was observed operating a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan on Walnut Street. Donehoo has a suspended license.
Donehoo was cited and released at the scene on a summons to appear.

William A. Bethke IV, 34, of Creston, was taken into custody 2:51 a.m. July 7, at Cromwell Road and Highway 34 on the charge of OWI, first offense.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:24 a.m. a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am was observed with its passenger side tires over the white lane divider line and the driver’s side tires on the other side of the white lane divider. The Grand Am swerved back into one lane and drove on the yellow center line. The Grand Am continued to weave within the lane, from yellow line to white line, multiple times.
A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, identified as Bethke, who had the odor of a consumed alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. Officers observed multiple open alcohol containers in plain view inside of the Grand Am. Bethke also had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. He admitted to drinking all day and most recently at a local bar.
Bethke consented to field sobriety testing and showed numerous validated clues of impairment. He consented to a PBT and produced a result over .08%. He was transported to the law enforcement center where he consented to provide a breath specimen for chemical testing. The result indicated a BAC of .172%.
Bethke was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Laura C. Zapata Gonzales, 30, and Julissa Padilla, 24, both of Lenox, were taken into custody 3:30 a.m. July 7, at Highway 34 and Cromwell Road on the charges of two counts of child endangerment, substantial risk. Gonzales was also charged with OWI, first offense.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:58 a.m. a 2019 Kia Optima was stopped and contact was made with the driver, identified as Zapata Gonzales. The odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected coming from the Kia, and Zapata Gonzales was observed to have slurred speech and watery eyes. There were two children in the backseat, not in child restraint devices. The mother of the children, identified as Padilla, was a passenger.
Officers observed open alcohol containers in the Kia.
Zapata Gonzales admitted to drinking and driving. She consented to field sobriety testing and showed numerous clues of impairment. A PBT indicated her BrAC was over .08%. Padilla admitted to law enforcement she knew Zapata Gonzales was intoxicated and put her children in the car.
Zapata Gonzales was transported to the Union County Law Enforcement Center where she consented to provide a breath specimen for chemical testing, resulting in a BAC of .145%.
Zapata Gonzales and Padilla were transported to the Union County Jail where Zapata Gonzales was released after posting $5,000 cash or surety bond and Padilla was released after posting $4,000 cash or surety bond.

Nathaniel D. Bifford, 34, of Creston, was taken into custody 3:42 p.m. July 7, at Adams and Maple streets on the charge of driving while suspended.
According to a Creston Police report, Bifford was observed operating a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country on Adams Street. Bifford has a suspended license.
Bifford was cited and released on a summons to appear.

Robbie A. Dohrn, 59, of Creston, was taken taken into custody 7:46 p.m. July 7, at Page and Walnut streets on an Adams County warrant for the charge of failure to appear.
According to Adams County District Court documents, Dohrn was to appear Nov. 30, 2023, in court for a compliance hearing and did not.
Dohrn was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $50 cash only bond.

Sherrece P. Kilgore, 39, of Greenfield, was taken into custody 9:32 p.m. July 7, on a Union County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while license suspended, cancelled or revoked.
According to Union County District Court documents, Kilgore was to appear for an initial appearance on the original charge May 14, and did not.
Kilgore was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $300 cash or surety bond.
