No citations were issued Tuesday after a two-vehicle accident in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 3:58 p.m., a 2023 GMC Sierra, driven by Jessica M. Carter, 33, of Creston, was westbound on Devoe Street and attempted to stop at Division Street but slid through the intersection due to icy/snowy roadway conditions. While sliding through the intersection, the Sierra was struck by a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Erendira Ornelas, 28, of Creston, who was southbound on Division Street and had the right of way.
Damage to the GMC was estimated at $1,000 and damage to the Chevrolet was estimated at $1,500.
