Dalton J. Cormeny, 32, of Creston, was taken into custody 1:39 p.m. Jan. 3 at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on three Union County warrants for the charges of 1. failure to appear on the original charges of theft, first degree, criminal mischief, second degree and burglary, third degree; 2. failure to appear on the original charges of child endangerment with bodily injury and domestic abuse assault, second offense and 3. failure to appear on the original charge of domestic abuse assault impeding flow air or blood.

According to Union County District Court documents, Cormeny was scheduled to appear Aug. 1 for an initial appearance after a promise to appear on the original charges of warrant one and did not.

Cormeny was scheduled to appear Aug. 25 for pretrial conferences on the original charges of warrants two and three but did not.

Cormeny was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $35,000 cash only bond.

Danny A. Fry, 36, of Creston, was taken into custody 4:07 p.m. Jan. 3 at his residence on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 3:32 p.m. officers were requested to assist DHS with a escort at Fry’s residence due to drug concerns. When officers arrived and made contact with Fry, he admitted to having drugs in the residence but said he does not smoke them in front of children at the residence. Fry willingly showed officers drug paraphernalia consisting of various bongs, pipes and wax containers.

Fry was taken to Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $300 cash or surety bond.

Ryan Wayne Feldhacker, 44, of Creston, was taken into custody 11:45 p.m. Jan. 3 at his residence on two Union County warrants, the first for the charge of violation of probation and the second for the charges of burglary, first degree and criminal mischief, second degree.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s Office report, at approximately 11:10 p.m. Dec. 27, Feldhacker and a female were seen walking around a property on Luther Circle, where they broke three windows of the home, as seen on security camera footage. A female inside left the residence and drove around the block to see who was walking around. While driving on Patt Street, she observed Feldhacker and the female in the roadway and swerved to miss them them, causing her to leave the roadway and hit a light pole.

After hitting the pole, Feldhacker and the female broke the front driver’s side and passenger side windows to enter the victims car and the female, who entered the car through the passenger window, punched the victim. Feldhacker hit the victim with an unknown blunt object causing a large laceration on her hairline above her right eye. The victim told deputies she was able to identify both suspects during the attack and Feldhacker sent her threatening messages at approximately 3 p.m. that day.

According to a Iowa Department of Correctional Services report, Feldhacker was discharged Dec. 14 from substance abuse treatment and had not been in contact with or reported to his parole officer since his discharge. Contact information provided was non-working and his whereabouts were unknown.

On Dec. 21 Feldhacker obtained a substance abuse evaluation which recommended intensive outpatient treatments. Fledhacker was scheduled for sessions but missed all four of the appointments.

Feldhacker was transported to the Union County Jail and held without bond on the first warrant and $30,000 cash or surety bond on warrant two.

Alicia E. Lovell, 40, of Creston, was taken into custody 11:57 p.m. Jan. 3 at her residence on a Union County warrant for the charges of burglary, first degree and criminal mischief, second degree.
