No citations were issued in a two-vehicle accident Monday on Highway 34.
According to a Union County report, at approximately 6:14 a.m., a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Taylor C. Hunt, 31, of Osceola, was westbound on Highway 34 when it struck a 2014 GMC Sierra, driven by Ronald L. Belden, 65, of Dexter, who was southbound on Three Mile Creek Drive, crossing the highway.
Belden said he had stopped at the stop sign and looked but did not see the Jeep and pulled out in front of it.
Damages to the Jeep and GMC were estimated at $5,000 each.

A Creston woman was uninjured Monday in a car versus calf accident.
According to a Union County report, at approximately 11:42 p.m., a 2009 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Mikayla R. Nixt, 30, of Creston, was southbound in the 2100 block of REA Road when she hit a calf standing in the middle of the road. The calf was injured in the collision. The accident occurred near the owner of the calf’s residence who was able to remove the calf from the roadway.
Nixt was able to drive the Impala home before calling and reporting the accident.
Damage to the Impala was estimated at $2,500.
