Kristin R. Wiechman, 40, of Prescott, was taken into custody July 28 on the charge of assault causing bodily injury.

According to an Adams County report, at approximately 3 a.m. July 16, Wiechman was involved in a physical altercation with her sister while at Lake Binder. Weichman admitted to taking the victim to the ground to get her keys because she was intoxicated and unable to drive. While Wiechman had the victim on the ground, she placed her in a headlock and punched her in the face several times.

On July 17, the victim sought medical treatment for her injuries and was diagnosed with a concussion, black eye and neck sprain.

Wiechman was transported to the Adams County Jail where she was released from after posting $1,000 surety bond.

Megan Johnson, 34, of St. Joseph, Missouri, was taken into custody 5:08 p.m. Aug. 1 on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to an Adams County report, deputies conducted a traffic stop at 9th and John streets on a vehicle which had been reported for the occupants of the vehicle looking into houses and appearing to smoke out of a bong. When contact was made with the occupants, an odor of marijuana was detected coming from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and a grinder, scale and marijuana pipe with residue were located.

Johnson was transported to the Adams County Jail where she was released from after posting $300 cash bond.

Shanda F. Kile, 31, of Creston, was taken into custody 10:02 p.m. Aug. 6 on the charge of driving while suspended.

According to an Adams County report, deputies conducted a routine traffic stop on Highway 34 near Sycamore Avenue on a 2017 Nissan Versa. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Kile, who was found to have a suspended license.

Kile was transported to the Adams County Jail where she was released from after posting $300 cash bond.

Cherokie G. Davis, 48, of Corning, was taken into custody 10 p.m. Aug. 8 on the charge of OWI, first offense.

According to an Adams County report, deputies stopped a 2013 Kia Soul on Quince Avenue near 150th Street for having a rear taillight out and not having the license plate illuminated. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Davis, and the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected coming from her breath. Davis had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech.

Deputies conducted standardized field sobriety testing which indicated clues of impairment. Davis refused to take a PBT test. Davis was transported to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office where she refused to provide a breath specimen for chemical testing.

Davis was transported to the Adams County Jail were she was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Christopher D. Draman, 51, of Lenox, was taken into custody 12:20 a.m. Aug. 12 on the charge of driving while suspended.

According to an Adams County report, deputies stopped a Hummer H3 on Sycamore Avenue. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Draman, who was found to have a suspended license.

Draman was cited and released on a promise to appear.

Angela M. Nicholson, 49, of Corning, was taken into custody Aug. 22 on an Adams County warrant for the charge of failure to appear for probation violation hearing on the original charge of OWI, first offense.

According to an Adams County District Court document, Nicholson was to appear in court Aug. 22 for the hearing and did not appear.

Nicholson was transported to the Adams County Jail where she was released from after posting $300 cash bond.
