Accident

No injuries were reported Tuesday when a driver struck a parked car in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 8:12 p.m. a 2013 Buick Enclave, driven by Miranda Austin, 23, of Prescott, was northbound on Elm Street and turned east into a driveway to conduct a three-point-turn. When Austin backed out of the driveway, she did not see 2009 Ford Focus, legally parked on the east side of Elm Street, and backed into the Focus.

Damage to the Enclave was estimated at $500, damage to the Focus was estimated at $1,000.
