Joshua Connelly, 37, of Lorimor, was taken into custody Aug. 22 in the 500 block of South Douglas Street in Afton on the charge of driving while barred.
According to a Union County report, at approximately 4:29 p.m. deputies stopped a 2006 Chevrolet Impala for having no license plates. A male, identified as Connelly, was observed exiting the driver’s seat of the vehicle and was the only occupant in the vehicle. Connelly was found to have a barred driver’s license and was operating a unregistered vehicle with no valid insurance.
Connelly was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $2,000 cash or surety bond.
