Jeffrey Drake, 36, of Creston, was taken into custody 8:28 a.m. June 19 at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for the charge of violation of a no contact/protective order.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 7 a.m. June 15 a protected party in an active Union County protective order against Drake, found a letter on the front door of her residence. The letter makes specific references about court, Drake’s child and having to serve jail time. The statements made in the letter contained information only Drake would know.

Drake was transported to the Union County Jail and held without bond until his initial court appearance.

Blaine McIntosh, 22, of Orient, was taken into custody 10:34 a.m. June 19 at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for the charges of enticing a minor under 16 - sexual purpose; two counts sexual abuse, third degree - child victim, being four or more years older, first offense and lascivious acts with a child - solicitation.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 9:30 p.m. June 15 McIntosh solicited a child to engage in a sexual act for the purpose of arousing or satisfying his sexual desires. McIntosh enticed or attempted to entice a minor under the age of 16 with the intent to comment an illegal sex act, performed a sex act on a victim, being four or more years older than the victim and had the victim perform a sexual act on him.

McIntosh was transported to the Union County Jail and held without bond until his initial appearance.
