Gregory Logemann, 20, of Bridgewater, was taken into custody 8:12 p.m. April 30 in Bridgewater on a Pottawattamie County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of violation of probation.

Logemann was transferred to the Adair County Jail and released to the custody of Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office.

Johnny Sparks, 59, of Chicago, Illinois, was taken into custody 8:39 p.m. May 3 on Interstate 80 on the charges of controlled substance violation and failure to affix drug tax stamp.

According to an Adair Police report, at approximately 7:12 p.m. officers observed a 2023 Ford Bronco eastbound traveling 88 mph in a 70 mph zone. A traffic stop was initiated near mile marker 77.5 and contact was made with the driver, identified as Sparks. Sparks told the officer he was speeding to get to the rest area, as he and his wife needed to use the facilities.

Sparks was asked to sit in the officers patrol vehicle where he was given a warning for speeding. While there, he was asked if any marijuana was in the vehicle. Sparks said he had a joint in his pocket and handed it to the officer. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. Two large cooler bags containing edibles and a backpack containing marijuana were found in the back seat, a grinder was found in a bag containing Sparks ID and edibles were located in the center console of the vehicle.

Sparks was transported to the Adair County Jail were he was released from after posting $5,000 cash or surety bond.

Dalton J. Cormeny, 31, of Fontanelle, was taken into custody 11:29 a.m. May 4 on an Adair County Warrant for the charge of violation of probation.

According to an Iowa Department of Correctional Services report, on Dec. 7, 2021, Cormeny was granted a two year probation in Adair County for theft, second degree. He was ordered to pay all court and supervision fees and submit a DNA sample. Cormeny has made no payments toward court fees and minimal payments toward supervision fees. On April 24 Cormeny was arrested in Union County and is alleged to have committed the offenses of willful injury, child endangerment and domestic abuse assault - impeding flow of air/blood.

Cormeny was transported to the Adair County Jail and held without bond.

T’Lee Jones, 33, and Chevy Sauer, 33, both of Greenfield, were taken into custody at approximately 12:20 p.m. May 5 on Adair County warrants for the charges of possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, first offense; possession of a controlled substance -methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense and three counts prescription drug violation, first offense.

According to a Greenfield Police report, on April 12 a search warrant was conducted at 504 NE Dodge Street. Located during the execution of the warrant were numerous used hypodermic needles and needle caps, baggies containing methamphetamine and marijuana residue; two glass containers with a green leafy substance which field tested positive for marijuana, pipes containing marijuana and methamphetamine residue, 23 grams of a crystalline substance which field tested positive as methamphetamine and a pill bottle containing three different types of medication not prescribed to Jones or Sauer. All items were located in the basement of the residence where Jones and Sauer are known to stay according to others at the residence. Mail and other belongings were also located in the basement.

Jones and Sauer was transported to the Adair County Jail where Jones was released from after posting $5,000 cash or surety bond and Sauer was held on $10,000 cash or surety bond.

Justin Robertson, 43, of Greenfield was taken into custody 8:41 p.m. May 5 on an Adair County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of violation of probation.

According to Adair County District Court documents, Robertson was to appear before the court April 28 and did not.

Robertson was transported to the Adair County Jail and held on $1,000 cash only bond.

Jordanne Beardsley, 29, of Fontanelle and Jasmine Blaylock, 38, of Greenfield, were taken into custody 8:30 p.m. May 6 on the charge of violation of a no contact/protective order.

According to an Adair County report, on May 5 Blaylock sent a text to an Adair County inmate; May 6 Beardsley sent a text to the same inmate. On May 6 Beardsley and Blaylock both had phone conversations with the inmate and Blaylock dropped off mail for several inmates, including a card determined to be from Beardsley for the same inmate. Beardsley and Blaylock are both listed as protected parties in a order in place against the male inmate.

Beardsley and Blaylock were transported to the Adair County Jail and released after posting $300 cash or surety bond.

Jeffery Ott, 29, of Greenfield, was taken into custody 11:23 p.m. May 6 on the charge of public intoxication.

According to a Greenfield Police report, at approximately 10:52 p.m. officers were called to the 200 block of NW 2nd Street in Greenfield for a fight in progress. When officers arrived in the area, Ott was observed walking in the street with the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. He told officers he had been drinking from a bottle. He consented to PBT testing which indicated a BAC of .08%.

Ott was transported to the Adair County Jail. He pled guilty to the charge and was released after serving his sentence.
