A Creston woman was transported by ambulance Friday after a two-vehicle accident.

According to a Creston Police report, a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Kenneth Kile, 67, of Shannon City, was eastbound on Taylor Street when it struck a 2016 Chevrolet Trax, driven by Haley Harrigan, 65, of Creston, who was turning south into the Casey’s parking lot from the westbound lane of Taylor Street. Harrigan stated she looked before turning but did not see any oncoming traffic.

Harrigan complained of pain and was transported by ambulance to Greater Regional Health.

Damage to the Equinox was estimated at $1,000. Damage to the Trax was estimated at $1,200.
