Kane Farlow, 24, of Creston, was located at a Creston residence and arrested by the Creston Police Department on charges related to an active domestic assault case occurring earlier that day. Deputies assisted in the arrest and also served Farlow with Union County warrants stemming from a Feb. 19 pursuit Union County Sheriff’s Office deputies had with Farlow. The warrants charged Farlow with eluding, driving under suspension, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

Farlow is being held in the Union County Jail without bond on multiple Union County warrants and violation of parole issued by the Iowa Department of Corrections.

A search warrant was executed May 2 by the Union County Sheriff’s Office at a rural residence in Kent. Deputies recovered a 1993 Chevrolet pickup, reported as stolen from a business in Adair County in April. The vehicle had been burnt and chopped up, some parts were located at a salvage yard in Taylor County. The case remains under investigation and suspects are being identified.
