Union County Sheriff

Corey Brown, 44, of Lorimor was charged Monday with driving while license was suspended.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, Brown was ticketed and transported to the Union County jail where he posted bond.

Dennis Tyler, 44, of Creston was charged Tuesday with public intoxication at the Union County courthouse.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, Tyler was present for court hearing and was placed under arrest for 20 days at Union County Jail. Deputy taking Tyler into custody found an odor of alcoholic beverage on Tyler’s breath. Deputy observed Tyler having bloodshot watery eyes and when asked Tyler stated he had a couple beers. Tyler refused testing.

No bond was set.
