Adair County Sheriff

David Spencer Reeves, 35, of Des Moines, was charged on an Adair County warrant for violation of a no-contact order, domestic, 12 a.m. March 1.

Reeves was held awaiting an appearance before the magistrate.

Christopher Anthony Ford, 38, of Greenfield was charged with violation of a no-contact/protective order, contempt, 9:50 a.m. Friday at his residence.

According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, Ford dropped off his son at Nodaway Valley High School and waved at the protected party.

Ford was released on $300 bond.

Jonathan Paul Calhoun, 35, of Adair, was charged with operating while intoxicated, first-offense, 2:25 p.m. Saturday at 5th and Audubon in Greenfield.

According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, Calhoun was seen by law enforcement running a stop sign after leaving the Kum and Go station in Adair. A traffic stop was initiated after it was observed Calhoun had problems staying in his lane. The officer smelled alcohol coming from Calhoun during the stop and noticed he had slurred speech and blood-shot, watery eyes. Calhoun refused a preliminary breath test. At the station he consented to a Datamaster test, which resulted a blood-alcohol content reading of .149.

Lisa Marie Overton, 44, of Stuart, was charged with driving while barred 8:54 p.m. Saturday on Stuart Road.

Overton was cited and released.
