OPINION: President “Pruning Knife” Trump must stay the course

It is amazing how fickle the American public can be! We have seen in the recent past many movements, parties and individuals that have adopted the so-called “Green” program. The “Green” agenda is supposed to save the planet.

The mantra says that we humans are using too many of the limited resources of the earth. Supposedly we are creating havoc with the climate by our overuse and misuse of our natural resources.

Vast amounts of money have been spent and many laws have been passed to prevent the so-called climate change that we are supposedly causing by the way that we fuel our industry, power our transportation and control the temperature in our homes.

A vast bureaucracy has been set up to make decisions on our behalf so that the Earth can be saved from our ruthless and careless lifestyles. The United States government has established numerous agencies, vast amounts of guidelines and enormous restrictions on our ability to make decisions affecting the sources of our energy and the way we are allowed to use our energy.

U.S. government agencies have established rules about how we heat our homes, how we power our appliances and even the appliances we are allowed to purchase and use. We are told by the government bureaucracy what kind of cars we can purchase and how they are to be powered.

Our future prosperity and lifestyles are to be decided by the federal government - not by the free marketplace or our personal preferences. This has become the age of “Leviathan,” the dragon. We have been rapidly becoming a nation like the one described by George Orwell in his book “1984.”

The American public has grown tired of a government acting like “Big Brother.” Our society no longer resembles the United States of our founding fathers. The lessons learned before and during the Revolutionary War have seemingly been forgotten. Our national government has become so large and so out of control that we no longer consider ourselves to be self-governing.

In the last national election, we were presented with an opportunity to gain control of Leviathan. We had an opportunity to return freedom to the people. It may have indeed been our last chance to become the nation the Revolutionary War promised.

As Thomas Jefferson had foreseen, our public offices have multiplied beyond belief, the public expense has grown beyond public income and our public debt has grown to unbelievable size. Public debt now exceeds the total value of goods and service produced nationally in an entire year.

At the general election last November, the American public rose up and chose to follow Jefferson’s advice once again. The voters chose as President a “pruning knife.”

President “Pruning Knife” is otherwise known as President Donald Trump. President Trump has correctly diagnosed the problems faced by the United States of America. President Trump has begun the process of identifying the problems predicted by Jefferson.

President Trump has established an office, known as “DOGE” (Department of Government Efficiency). Led by Elon Musk, DOGE has been identifying parts of Leviathan that are wasting and misusing the public funds. In addition to waste and fraud, DOGE has uncovered vast amounts of just plain incompetence in our federal government.

Just as any monster will react violently to an attack, Leviathan is reacting violently. Leviathan is responding with lawsuits and violence. Leviathan is reacting by the destruction of electric autos. These autos have been developed as an alternative to gasoline-powered vehicles. They will supposedly help to “save the planet.”

The “green” folks are in a hissy-fit because Musk manufactures the most popular electric auto - yet Musk is in charge of DOGE and is battling Leviathan. Strangely, Leviathan is only destroying one brand of electric autos, the brand manufactured by Musk, dragon slayer.

President “Pruning Knife” Trump must stay the course. He must bring Leviathan under control. The continued existence and prosperity of the United States of America is at stake.
