Cindy Driskill, 69, of Afton, died Saturday, April 5, 2025, at her home in Afton. A Celebration of Life Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 11, at Powers Funeral Home, 601 New York Ave., Creston. Pastor John Rutz will officiate. Private burial will be in Oakland Cemetery near Shannon City. Open visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m., with family receiving friends 5 to 7 p.m.,Thursday, April 10, at Powers Funeral Home in Creston.

Cindy Kay (Neisemier) Driskill, daughter of Leo Chris Neisemier and Pauline (Gibson) Neisemier, was born May 13, 1955, in Osceola. She was educated and graduated from East Union High School in 1973. While in high school, she was involved in band, including concert and marching band – being named Band Queen in 1973.
On April 5, 1980, Cindy was united in marriage to Lauran Anthony Driskill in Lorimor. They lived most of their married life in the Afton area. She began her working career by working at Heat Tech in the production area. Later, she worked at Dekko, producing wire harnesses. Before retiring, Cindy worked at Bunn-O-Matic as a supervisor. She retired in 2020.
She had a passion for following her kids in their horse shows, rodeos, sporting events and any other activities they were involved in.
Cindy is survived by her husband Lauran Driskill of Afton; son Dustin (Missy) Driskill of Creston; her siblings, Kathy (Gary) Sink of St. Mary’s and Jane Hamilton of Prole; five grandchildren: Casey Kay Allen, Lauren Hadley, Chase Allen, Scott (Maddie) Driskill and Leo Driskill; son-in-law Shawn Allen; mother-in-law Leona Driskill and many other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Donna Allen in 2023; and brother Danny Neisemier.
