Frank L. White

Frank White, 69, of Long Beach, California, formerly of Creston, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at Vista Del Mar Senior Living Facility in Long Beach, California. A private burial with family will take place in Graceland Cemetery, south of Creston, at a later date.

Frank LeRoy White was born April 23, 1955, to Glen and Janice White in Osceola. He was raised by Max and Sylvia Johns in Creston. He graduated from Creston High School in 1973. He then graduated from the Iowa School of Beauty in Des Moines in 1975.

He worked in Des Moines and Creston before settling in Long Beach, California, where he continued his work as a beautician.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Janice White; grandparents, Max and Sylvia Johns; brother, Glen White; brother-in-law, John A. Miller and nephew, Matt White.

Frank is survived by his brother, Charles (Debbie) White; sisters, Linda White and Sue Ellen Miller; a niece, Erin (Dave) Peavler; many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
