Anna Goodman

Anna Goodman, 93, of Creston, formerly of Diagonal, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at Creston Specialty Care in Creston. There will be no public services. Burial will be private at a later date. Online condolences can be given at www.powersfh.com.

Anna was born Nov. 7, 1931, to Kelly and Eulah (Renfrow) Bolton in Imogene. She graduated from Afton High School.

She was united in marriage on May 7, 1950, to Dean Goodman. To this union they had four children. They raised their family on a farm north of Diagonal. She always raised a large garden and had chickens. She also canned all of her vegetables. Anna loved to crochet and always made baby clothes and baby blankets for her family. She loved having her grandkids spend time with her. Family always came first. Anna worked at Greater Regional Hospital for 25 years.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Marilyn Stephens of Diagonal and Marlene (Larry) Christensen of Greenfield; son, Jon (Lori) Goodman of Diagonal; eight grandkids; 10 great-grandkids and three great-great-grandkids.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Dean; son, Don Goodman; her parents and siblings.
