Donna M. Howard of Creston, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, in Arispe, at the age of 65 years. Donna requested no public services and private services to be held at a later date, to be determined by the family. Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center was in charge of arrangements.

Donna Marie Howard was born March 26, 1959, one of eight daughters born to Maundrill Howard and Rosella (Keener) Boham in Mount Ayr. Donna was raised and educated in the Mount Ayr area and later attended Southwestern Community College in Creston, where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She had a heart of gold and was a very precious gift and was simply known to her family as “Aunt Big.”
Donna is survived by three sisters: Linda Thompson of Cedar Hill, Tennessee; Maudie Ott of Greenfield and Rose (Loni) Vanderpluym of Arispe. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Donna will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding Donna in death were her parents and four sisters: Edna Lilly, Barbara Wilkey, Bertha Long and Brenda Marshall.
