Robert G. (Bob) Brown, 72, of Afton, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023, from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.
Bob was a family man, farmer and public servant. He served Union County as a supervisor, chairman of the 3 Mile Lake project, expert regarding Mormon history at Mount Pisgah and a myriad of other good works.
His family, wife, Bev; daughters, Sarah Brown, (Erik Niggemeyer), and Becca (Matt) Sheridan and son Matt (Erika) Brown are mourning his loss and remembering the good times. He will also be missed by his favorite little people: Owen and Aubrey Sheridan, Genevieve Niggemeyer and Dexter Brown, as well as other family members and lots of friends.
The family has chosen cremation with his brain donated to Alzheimer’s research. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials are to be determined by the family.
