Shelly Kaye Robinson, 60, of Creston passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at her home. Celebration of Life Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Powers Funeral Home, 601 New York Avenue in Creston. Pastor Tim Maxa will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, east of Afton. Open visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m., with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9 at Powers Funeral Home in Creston.

Shelly Kaye Robinson was born June 18, 1963, the daughter of Johnny and Wanda (Perry) McIntire in Osceola. Shelly was united in marriage to William Walter Robinson Oct. 19, 1996, at the First United Methodist Church of Creston. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Following her graduation from East Union High School in the class of 1981, Shelly completed her studies at Hair Tech in Creston. For many years, Shelly was a beautician in Creston. Later, she operated a screenprinting business from her home and most recently had the pleasure of working at Green Accounting and Tax. Over the years she became friends with many of her clients and co-workers. People were drawn to her friendly smile and pleasant demeanor.
Survivors include her husband, William Walter Robinson of Creston; daughters, Emily (Matt) Cushman of Waukee and Amanda Robinson of Norwalk; three brothers: Barry McIntire of Afton, Jack (Barb) McIntire of Afton and Jerry (Terrinda) McIntire of Thayer; two sisters: Cheryl (Danny) Purdum of Lenox and Sheila (Herman) Chenoweth of Afton; brother-in-law, John (Jeannine) Robinson of North Waterboro, Maine; many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Shelly was preceded in death by her parents.
