Edgar “Gene” Eugene Palser, Jr., 58, of Creston, passed away March 3, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Hastings Community Church (formerly Hastings UMC) in Hastings. Burial will be in the Hastings Cemetery. Visitation at the church will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Gene’s honor. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern is caring for Gene and his family.
Gene was born May 1, 1964, in Council Bluffs, to Gene Sr. and Mary Palser. He is survived by his children, Ryan and Shelby (Dakota Colburn); brothers, Clifford Palser and Dan Carley (Mary) and sister Janet Carley.
