Helen E. Armstrong

Services for Helen Estella Camp Armstrong, 100, of Indianola, who passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at Norwalk Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Norwalk, will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 at the Indianola First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow services in the St. Charles Cemetery.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Jess; her parents; brothers: Marvin (Gladyne), Marion (Becky), Robert (Mary) and Dan; sisters: Evelyn, Marilyn Jane and Mary Nadine: Her parents-in-law, Albert and Nora Armstrong, as well as Jess’s siblings and their spouses.

Helen is survived by her son Rex (Carma) Armstrong of Indianola; daughter Kay (Paul) Boden of Creston; four grandsons: Jason (Mariha) Henle, Chris (Roxanne) Boden, Scott (Lacey) Armstrong and Adam (Brooke) Boden; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; brother Glenn (Diana) Camp of North Fort Myers, Florida; sister-in-law Phyllis Camp of Gilbert, Arizona; many nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
