Timothy Sheets

Timothy Sheets, 74, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Creston, Iowa, passed away March 25, 2022, from injuries sustained in a car wreck.

Tim was born in Clearfield, Iowa, and graduated from Creston High School.  Tim worked for the Creston Post Office for 20 years and then after moving to Las Vegas worked at the MGM Grand Resort in the security department until his retirement.

Tim was married to his wife Connie for 56 years and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Tim loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing and carried on these traditions with his grandson Drew.  Tim had been enjoying his retirement spending time on his yard work and daily solitaire games living a relaxed life.

Tim is survived by his daughter Tracey Schafer, son Darrin Sheets, and grandson Drew Schafer, all of Las Vegas, Nevada.  He is also survived by his cousins Brenda Miller and Beverly Stamper of Des Moines, Iowa, along with his sister in- laws Carol Hunter of Lima, Ohio, and Lometa (Reldon) Spring of Las Vegas, Nevada, brother in-laws Ronald Walter of Prescott, Iowa, Eldon (Cindy) Walter of Kansas City, Missouri, and various nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Connie Sheets and by his parents Mae and Skeeter Sheets and his in-laws Fred and Rose Walter along with other related family members.

A celebration of life will he held at a later date.
