Bonnie Hodge, 79, of Creston, died Sunday, July 4, 2021, at her home in Creston. Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2021, at Powers Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery, east of Prescott. Pastor Mary O’Riley will officiate. The service will be livestreamed on Powers Funeral Home website link under events. Open visitation will be 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021, with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home in Creston.

Bonnie Hodge was born July 2, 1942, to Mildred (Hogenkamp) and Robert Reasland in Creston. She attended Creston schools and graduated in 1960.

On Sept. 26, 1963, she was united in marriage to Ramond Lee Hodge in Creston. Two boys were born to this union: Jeffery Alan and Bradford Lee. Bonnie worked for Hanson’s Drug store for eight years, babysat for 10 years and worked for Hy-Vee for 35 years, before her health forced her into retirement. Bonnie enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking, and going camping. They had a group they called “The Camping Bunch”.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Jeff (wife Janelle) Hodge of Lenox, Brad (wife Sherri) Hodge of Creston; grandchildren: Bailey Hodge of Creston, Tanner Hodge of Lenox, and step grandson T.J. (wife Melissa) Butler of Gravity; seven great-grandchildren; her brother Glen Reasland of Mountain Home, Arkansas; sister-in-law Marge Reasland of Creston, brother-in-law Shorty Martin of Creston; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramond in 2007; her parents Mildred and Robert; mother- and father-in-law; sisters Mary Ford and Hazel Martin; brothers Russell Reasland, baby brother in infancy; brother-in-law Robert Ford; nephews: Dan Martin, Mikey Martin, Matt Martin, and Eric Reasland.
