Judy Hulett, 79, of Creston died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, at Adair County Hospital in Greenfield. Celebration of Life services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Powers Funeral Home in Creston. Pastor Mary O’Riley and Pastor Jim McIntosh will officiate. Masks and social distancing are required. Services will be livestreamed on Powers Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Creston. Open visitation with family receiving friends will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Judy’s memory to put a memorial bench at Fogle Lake and Graceland Cemetery goldfish pond. Online condolences can be given at www.powersfh.com.

Judy Carolyn Hulett was born Feb. 8, 1941, in Union County to Maxine E. (Tinker) Eklund and Arthur Eklund. She graduated from Cromwell High School in 1958.

On April 12, 1959, Judy was united in marriage to Jack Hulett at Cromwell Congregational Church. Judy was a wife and mother. Outside of home, she worked at Camp and Harsh Law Firm, did in-home daycare, Rainbow Junction Daycare and also worked at I Think I Can Daycare in Creston. She loved being a bar and grill waitress at different times in her life, with the latest being at T.J.’s in Afton. Judy was a member of Cromwell Congregational Church.

Survivors include her husband Jack Hulett of Creston; three daughters: Tammy (Gaylen) Pryor of Creston, Pam (Brian) Kelley of Liberty, Missouri, Jackie (Andy) Wager of St. Charles, Missouri; one son Chuck (Tami) Hulett of Creston; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her sister Diane (Bill) Ogbourne of Osceola; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Art and Maxine Eklund; Jack’s parents Charles and Clesa Hulett; her sister Donna Moran; husband Bill and brother-in-law Ed Hulett.
