Debbie Kralik, 66, of Creston died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at Powers Funeral Home, 601 New York Ave. in Creston. Pastor Jodi Rushing will officiate. Service will be livestreamed on Powers’ Facebook page. Social distancing will be observed and masks are required. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Creston. Open visitation with family receiving friends will be 1:30 to 2 p.m., with service time 2 p.m. Saturday at Powers Funeral Home in Creston. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be established. Debra Lynn Kralik was born April 24, 1954, in Fairbury, Nebraska, to Glen Earl Dean and Dorothy Lynn (Spring). She graduated from Fairbury High School in 1972. Debbie was united in marriage to Barry Lewis Kralik on March 20, 1982, in Creston. They settled in Creston, where Debbie started working at Easter’s Family Center in 1973. She started at Medicap Pharmacy in 2002 in Creston and worked there until 2015.
Debbie loved the Nebraska Cornhuskers and loved working with and enjoyed being around people. She loved her animals, liked to visit the casinos, and play the lottery scratch off tickets and computer games. She was a member of the former Davidson’s Bowling and Pine Valley Bowling Leagues.
Survivors include her husband Barry Kralik of Creston; two daughters, Ami Kralik of Waukee, Iowa, Traci (Alex) Olson of Altoona, Iowa; two brothers, Leslie (Melissa) Dean of Mobile, Alabama, Terry (Rhonda) Dean of Woodland Park, Colorado; and one grandson Cooper Olson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
