On March 25, 1991 Bill married Christine Lena Stone in Corning. Four children would bless this union: Candice, Richard, Luke and Carly.

Bill’s passion in life was farming, a passion that began working on his parent’s dairy farm. When he was 18 years old, he sold his Corvette to purchase his own dairy cattle. In 2008 he turned his farming over to a cow-calf operation. In addition to cattle, he raised corn, soybeans and hay. Bill partnered with his father and late brother, John on the farming operations.

In 2012 Bill and Christine operated a food truck for three years, catering many different events along the way. Starting in 2016 Bill ran the cafe at the Bedford Country club for a few years.

Bill enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing in a basketball league, cruising, hunting rabbits with his dogs; Bug and Dani. He also liked to participate in truck pulls and recently purchased a new truck to pull with. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa.
