Steve Schwiezer from Denman and Company reported on the hospital’s fiscal year 2024 audit. Their firm issued an unmodified opinion, which means there were no problems or inaccuracies found. He also presented comparisons with other public Critical Access Hospitals and Greater Regional compared favorably to others among many categories including debt levels, revenues and taxes levied.

Greater Regional appeared low in comparison of days cash on hand at 130. Chief Financial Officer Matt McCutchan said anything more than 90 is a strong cash position. He also said Greater Regional will be debt free in December 2026.
