Shooting suspect in custody

A shooting was reported at 7:35 a.m. today in the 800 block of North Lincoln Street.

The person of interest has turned himself in to the Union County Law Enforcement Center. The victim drove themselves to Greater Regional Health after the incident.

Lockdowns are being lifted as there appears to be no more concern for public safety.

This is believed to be an isolated incident.
